Did you ever have a parent, teacher or coach whom you especially wanted to please? How about pleasing God?
Proverbs 16 contains some God pleasing ideas.
- Commit everything to the Lord (V3)
- Fear God and depart from evil (v6)
- Live honestly (v11)
- Don’t let money be the most important thing in your life. (V16)
- Trust Him (V20)
- Age gracefully (V31)
- Anger Slowly (C32)
And gifts or ability do not please God, but attitude and habits do.
