The Biography of the Bible Baptist Church Arch Road, Sucker Garden, St. Maarten in the Dutch West Indies

Being led by their conviction, the Bible Baptist Church was birthed in the home of Bro.  and Sis. Alberto Richardson in the presence of a small group of believers, on November 30th, 1976

Their aim was to establish a Bible Believing Baptist Church seeking the lost based on the word of God. Twenty-nine believers signed the chart that night.

Reverend Allinson DaCosta a Bluewater Bible College Graduate was elected as the first Pastor and served until 1979.  He is presently the senior pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church on Nevis.

Bro. Lamar Palmer a Missionary from the United States took over the Pastorate from 1979 until April 30th, 1981 however he remained an integral part of the church until today.

On May 1st, 1981 Dr. James Young was elected to Pastor Bible Baptist Church.

Dr. Young studied Philosophy and BB MA Doctor of Divinity at Prophets Bible School and Seminary.

Dr. Young has faithfully served as Senior Pastor for over three decades and is still serving by the Grace of God.

The Bible Baptist Church believes we are the instruments of Jesus Christ and takes the Great
Commission very seriously, (Matthew 25:31-46; 28:18-20. Therefore our main goal is to reach everyone possible spreading Gods Word around the World, via Internet Radio as the Holy Spirit leads. We believe that Jesus is the only way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the only way to eternal life (John 14:6)

 

It is our Aim to continue to be “A Lighthouse” in this world of darkness, until JESUS THE Light of this world Raptures His Church.

 

Our Weekly Schedule:

 

Sunday:  Sunday School 10:00am followed by Morning Worship until 1:00pm

Monday: Ladies Meeting 7:30pm

Tuesday: Cottage Prayer Meeting 7:30pm

Wednesday: Prayer Meeting/Bible Study 7:30pm

Thursday:  Media Program 7:30pm

Friday: Youth Meeting 7:30pm

Saturday: Bible Club 3:00/Brigade 3:00/Choir Practice 7:30pm
